Robert Dwayne Parson, age 60, of Quincy, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born Friday, March 5, 1965, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Robert Lee and Betty Skaggs Parson of Quincy, Kentucky.
Wayne enjoyed logging, riding his razor, boating, car racing, gardening, spending time in the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Kaysen Alloway.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Aimee Thurman Parson; two sons,, Robert Parson II of Quincy, Kentucky, Clayton (Lindsey) Scott of Vanceburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Jennifer (Alex) Alloway of Quincy, Kentucky, Kaitlyn Scott (Kameron Vaughn) of Vanceburg, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren, Ayden, Payton, Hudson, Kolter, Emory and Karson; one brother, Bryan (Billie Jo) Parson of Quincy, Kentucky; one sister, Angela (Mike) McDaniel of Quincy, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 27, 2025, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue, Garrison, Kentucky, with Brother Brad Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Dawn Cemetery in Quincy, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 10 a.m., Friday, June 27, 2025, until the service hour at Globe Family Funeral Chapel.
Ayden Alloway, Clayton Scott, Kameron Vaughn, Robert Parson II, Bryan Parson and Mark Parson will serve as pallbearers.
