Sue Ann Wright Goerner, 59, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Hospice of Hope Care Center, Maysville, Kentucky.

She was born January 18, 1966, a daughter of the late Paul and Dora Lightner Wright.

Sue was of the Christian Baptist Faith. She enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping at thrift stores, spending time with her family, and listening to music with her Grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Lightner.

She is survived by her two sons, Ricky Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, both of Vanceburg, Kentucky; one daughter, Nancy Wilson of Garrison, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Paul Wright of Garrison, Kentucky, Eddie Wright of Tollesboro, Kentucky, Keith Shore of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Anthony Fox of Tennessee; one sister, Carol McKinney of Vanceburg, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the residence of Tammy Horsley in Garrison, Kentucky, with Brother Chris Lawhun officiating. Burial will follow in Horsley Family Cemetery with Brother Chris Lawhun officiating.

Friends may visit after 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, until the service hour at the residence of Tammy Horsley.
