Brenda Kay Phillips, 77, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away September 30, 2025. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on July 18, 1948, to the late Carl and Hester (Blakley) York. Brenda was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She also enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and winning at bingo. She will be deeply missed.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Hester York; children Lisa Phillips and Ricky Phillips; grandson Jacob Shreve; great-grandson Julian Crabtree; siblings Ann (Bill) Kays, Carla (Bill) Wisley, Dink (Barbara) Blakley and Bud (Barbara) York.
She is survived by her children Rod Phillips, Lynda Risley, Kevin Phillips, Kelly Phillips, Stacey Phillips; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; siblings Paul (Earline) York, John (Sandy) York and Marilyn Shawhan.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Phillips. A Celebration of Life will be October 10, 2025, in the American Legion at 5 pm.
