Heaven on Friday, January 5,2024, surrounded in love by her family. She was born in Clinton, KY., on July 27,1960. Daughter of William N. Russell Sr. And Mae Alvia Deboe Russell. Brenda was dedicated to her managerial job as the storeroom coordinator for 44 years, at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She graduated in 1979 from East High School in Erie. A devoted member of Second Baptist Church where
she was over the Youth Department, a missionary, attended the Pennsylvania National
Baptist Convention, Lydia's ministry, kitchen aid and helped wherever she was needed. She enjoyed watching old westerns with Perry Mason, leave it to Beaver and crocheting. Most of all her family.
Brenda was one of the sweetest and kindest woman on earth, a true jewel. She will forever be missed
By all who encountered her. Besides both parents William and Mae Alvia Deboe Russell, she was preceded in death by a brother William (Junebug) Russell Jr.
She leaves behind daughter; Lisa Williams, and her husband Shane. Bonus daughter; Lela Moffett Clanton. Two grandchildren; Ta'Niyah and Shane Jr. Bonus granddaughter; Az'Lynn. Sister; Patricia Watkins and brother Cecil Russell and wife Peggy. Her special niece Tonia Schley. Godchildren; Freddie, Shequel, Kaleaha, RayQuana, Arayia and Ameena.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, January 12,2024 at Second Baptist Church, 757
East 26th Street Erie, PA 16504 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00 pm. Her celebration of life service Saturday January 13,2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lamont Higginbottom Eulogizing, The interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services inc.

Brenda and I worked at Hamot medical center for years together she was the kindest and funniest person we had many good times and she will be missed by many

Brenda and I went to East High School together. She was a great friend. Always happy. Even though I haven't seen her in a long time, I've always treasured our friendship. My condolences to her family

I worked with Brenda at UPMC Hamot, she was the most kind, friendly and most helpful person on this earth. We would share stories of our children and grandchildren, they were her pride and joy.
