Brenda Seedorf

Mrs. Brenda (Groce) Seedorf, age 74, of Douglasville passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023. She was born in Alta, Georgia on Tuesday, July 6, 1948. Mrs. Seedorf was the daughter of the late, Garland Edward Free and the late, Clara Free. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Seedorf is preceded in death by one sister Charlotte Shook.

Brenda was a graduate of Cassville High School. She later made a career as a Sales Representative for Bank of America. Mrs. Seedorf was of Christian faith and a member of Lithia Springs United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cross stitching and quilting. In her younger years, Brenda was a talented piano player and singer. Above all, Brenda loved her family and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Henry "Hank" Seedorf of Douglasville; her stepsons, Robert Seedorf and his fianc?e, Staci Carmichael of Alabama and Matthew and Leigh Kent of Texas; one brother, Clyde Groce; one sister, Virginia Gosnell; two step-grandchildren, Liz Kent and Caroline Kent; three special nieces, Daisey Groce, Brenda Temples and Linda Newberry. Mrs. Seedorf is also survived by a number of other relatives.

In accordance with the family's arrangements, Mrs. Seedorf will be cremated.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date.
