Brenda Ann Smith

Brenda Ann Smith, age 73 of Marion, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda was born on October 24, 1949 to the late Donald Earl and Betty Charlene (Carmean) Krisher in Kenton, Ohio. On February 7, 2003, she married Denny Lee Smith in Marion, Ohio.
Brenda served as a school bus driver for 23 years for the Ridgedale School District and was also a certified school bus CDL instructor. She also worked as a teller for Chase Bank for 18 years. Always with a heart for helping others, she served as a board member of the Eye to Eye Low Vision Group. She will truly be missed by family and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Charlene Krisher.
Those who will cherish her memories include her husband, Denny Lee Smith of Marion, Ohio; her children: Ann M. (Scott) Schertzer of Marion, Ohio and Nathaniel (Katie) Sparks of Annapolis, Maryland; her stepchildren: Shelly (Aaron) Crider of Marion, Ohio and Matthew (Lauryn) Smith of Marysville, Ohio; her sister, Linda Lusch of Dublin, Ohio; her grandchildren: Sydney and Olivia Schertzer, Reagan Sparks, Kolton and Madelyn Crider, and "Kenzi" and
"Charlee" Smith; her nephew: Jonathan (Sandrine) Lusch and her great niece and nephew: Sarah and Alex Lusch.
Friends and family may come to honor Brenda's life on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. A Memorial service will follow starting at 3pm at the funeral home with Pastor Brett Gleespen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Brenda's memory to: Eye to Eye Low Vision Group c/o MaryJo Kundrat, 723 Oak Drive Marion, OH 43302. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be
