Brenda Page Trobaugh, born on October 21, 1946, in Coats, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on February 1, 2025, at the age of 78 in Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina.
Brenda dedicated 38 years of her life to caring for others as a nurse in the Wilmington area, exemplifying compassion and selflessness in every endeavor. Her unwavering commitment to her patients and community left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Brenda knew her as a woman of simple pleasures and boundless love. Walking along the beach, she found joy in discovering sand dollars and special shells, each one a small treasure connecting her to the serene beauty of nature. Brenda's creative spirit shone brightly through her love for decorating and painting, crafting spaces filled with warmth and color that reflected her vibrant soul.
Deeply faithful, Brenda lived her life guided by the principles of her Baptist faith, embodying strength and grace. She cherished the time she spent reading and making precious memories with her family, who were the center of her world.
Brenda is lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas Francis Trobaugh; her children: Ken Lee and his fiancée Sheila Bordeaux; Kevin Lee and his wife Angel; and Ryan Trobaugh and his wife Shirley. Her legacy continues through her cherished seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her values of kindness and love. Brenda is also survived by her brother, Donald Page, and his wife Juanita. She is preceded in death by her parents, Millard Elmond Page and Lucenia Stone Page, who surely welcomed her with open arms.
Brenda's life will be celebrated at a later date in Coats, NC, where she began her journey-a testament to her enduring connection to her roots.
