Funeral services for Brendan Cole Ivy, 18, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Community Life Church: 28706 State Hwy 64, Canton, TX 75103. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.
Brendan passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025.
Brendan Cole Ivy was born on May 3, 2007, in Dallas, TX, to parents Tad Ivy and Shanna Gann Ivy. He was raised in Forney, attended school in Scurry, and later moved to Wills Point, where he graduated his senior year online. Brendan had recently begun working alongside his father in pool installation and construction.
An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Brendan dreamed of earning a degree in mechanics to build custom motorcycles. He was also a passionate music lover who enjoyed attending concerts, drumming, and playing guitar.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gale Rowlett; grandfather, Danny Gann; aunt, Yolie Rohus; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brendan is survived by his parents, Tad and Shanna Ivy; brother, Dustin Ivy and wife Hannah; sister, Kelcee Ivy; brother, Cambren Ivy and sister-in-love, Jade McCord; nieces, Abilene, Gloria, and Ruby Ivy; nephews, Nolan Woods and Noah Hardey; grandfather, John Rowlett and wife Teri; grandparents, Terry and Kathey Taldo; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00–8:00 PM, Friday, June 20, 2025, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
