Dr. Brent Edward Borodic

Dr. Brent Edward Borodic, age 39, residing in Brentwood, New Hampshire passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022.

Brent Edward Borodic was born on April 11th 1983 to Dr. and Mrs. Gary and Millie Borodic in Canton, Massachusetts. He attended The Dexter School and St Mark's School, graduating valedictorian. Brent continued his education at Cornell University where he met his wife, Sophie Kartika, DVM.

Brent received his doctorate in medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Vermont. Brent worked as an anesthesiologist treating patients at Eastern Maine Medical Center. While living in Bangor, Brent received EMMC's highest honor for his heroism when he saved a child's life in a car crash on the way to work. At the start of the pandemic, Brent worked tirelessly to help with Eastern Maine's shortage in personal protective equipment. In 2021, Brent moved to Brentwood, NH where he worked at Exeter Hospital.

At the age of 27, Brent married Sophie in Lake Como, Italy, and went on to have two beautiful children, Grant Edward Borodic and Audrey Marie Borodic. Brent lived his life to the fullest, with a passion for boating, fishing, kayaking, and traveling. He was an avid woodworker, a passion that began in elementary school at Dexter.

Brent was a loving brother and mentor to Christopher and Laura Borodic. Dr. Borodic was known to his colleagues and friends as compassionate, caring, and humorous with a tremendous passion to extract every opportunity life had to offer. Most importantly, Brent was an adoring father who frequently shared his excitement to teach his children.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 9:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island 02886. Interment will follow at White Brook Cemetery in Richmond.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM – 8:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes to honor Brent Borodic is requested to contribute to his children's 529 college fund via Sophie Borodic at 6 Washington Drive, Brentwood, New Hampshire 03833.
