Our Brother, Son, Father and Friend "Brent" passed away the morning of July 12th, 2025, after battling a long stint of complications due to Pancreatitis and Liver Disease.
He was born on February 20, 1965 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes Indiana to his parents Buddy "Bud" Paul Twitty and Helen Lucille "Cooper" Twitty, Brother Paul Gregory Twitty (Kim) of Robards, Ky, Brother Steven Matthew Twitty, Sisters Denise Janine Twitty "Pass" (Mitchell) of Roswell, Georgia, and Lisa Deanne Twitty of Woodstock, Georgia Daughter Amanda Twitty and Son Mathew Twitty along with many other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his Brother Steven and his Father Bud.
He is going to be best remembered as a consummate dreamer of being the best at what he did and if he put his mind to it he could accomplish just about anything. He was a Master Craftsman and enjoyed working with wood and constructing many things that most of us could only dream of doing. Brent enjoyed playing practical jokes, teasing his sisters and trying to pull a fast one on anyone that he thought he could get one over on.
Brent was also a neat freak and made sure that all of his woodworking tools were put away and stored even if he would be using them on the same project 8 hours later.
Some of his favorite things to do were being creative with his tools. Going on walks in the evening and enjoying beautiful sunsets especially if he was on the Beach. Cooking and enjoying seeing friends and family love what he mastered.
"Bananas Flambé"
He was a HS graduate in Naples Florida where he enjoyed life to its fullest while living there before moving to the Atlanta area.
A Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my journey, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I was truly blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry at all.
I'll miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes when we're together again.
