Bret was born on March 24, 1995 in Peoria, IL to Stephen W. and Tammy L. (Dennison) Hoover.
Surviving are his father, Steve (Renee) Hoover of Chillicothe, IL; his mother, Tammy (Matt Cobb) Hoover and Joel Pollack of Chillicothe, IL; his brothers, Bryce Hoover and Drew Davis, both of Chillicothe, IL; his grandparents, Dan and Susan Male of Las Cruces, NM and James and Elaine Dennison of Chillicothe, IL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeffrey Hoover.
Bret graduated from Illinois Valley Central High School in 2013. He enjoyed fishing, drawing, gaming and making music. Bret was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was always giving hugs before and after his visits with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Bret, please visit our Tree Store.
