Brian Keith Bailey, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on September 15, 2024, at his residence at the age of 47.
Brian, known for his sense of humor and loving, generous nature, was born on June 29, 1977, in Paramount, California. He was the blessing of the late Keith Bailey and Toni McGuire Burnett who resides in Ashland, KY. Brian was a 1995 graduate of Paul Blazer High School. Brian took an interest in fixing things at a young age and was very talented in wood working and tile work. It was this talent and creativeness that led to his career as an Independent Contractor. He was a dedicated member of the Ashland Elks lodge for over 18 years, where he leaves behind many friends. Although Brian didn't get the chance to have children for himself, he was very compassionate and loved being around kids. Brian had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed being on the road riding his Harley Davidson. He leaves behind many that loved him dearly and a void in their hearts that will only be filled by the love and sweet memories he left behind.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his mother Toni, three devoted sisters, Amber Amburgey of Ashland, KY, Stephanie Geise and her husband Christopher of London, KY and Ginger Browning and her husband Josh of West Liberty, KY. Also surviving are his precious nieces and nephews; Ashlee Bailey, Ian Johnson, Tyler Amburgey, Ambrelle "Bill" Amburgey, Brian Matthew Amburgey, and one great-nephew Roman Joseph Keith, a special uncle Gary Michael "Uncle Mike" McGuire and his wife Barbara of Ashland, KY many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his father, Brian is preceded in death by his stepfather Steve Burnett who passed in 2022.
A Funeral service to honor the life of Brian will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home, located at 2409 Center Street, Catlettsburg, KY, beginning at 1:00pm with Larry Compton offering words of comfort. Visitation for friends and family will be held prior to the service from 11am to 1pm.
