Brian Keith Brickey, 54, of Tell City, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Breckinridge County, on October 17, 1970, son of the late G.W. And Vivian (Pate) Brickey.

Brian's love of trucking showed through the years he worked for PVS Trucking. His spare time brought him to restoring his '68 Chevy truck. Brian enjoyed banging around on the drum set, spending time with his family and friends, tossing lines in the lake, chilling with the boys (his dogs Eddie and Bandit), and most of all spending time with the apple of his eye, his granddaughter Teagyn.

Surviving are his daughter, Brianna (Ryan Harper) Brickey of Tell City; sisters, Terrie (Dwight) Sharp and Linda Dixon of Tell City; brother, Kevin Brickey of Tell City; granddaughter, Teagyn; nieces, Chelsea and Baylee; and nephews, Shelby, Jordan, Nathan, and Gabe.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Carty; grandparents, Ollie and Flossie Brickey, John and Liz Pate, and Martha Lee Butcher; and a nephew, Sheldon Sharp.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home, with visitation will be from 2:00pm until service time.

The family would like to express thanks and gratitude to Owensboro Regional, for the care and compassion he received.

Memorial contributions may be made to River's Edge Animal Shelter.
