Brian had a profound love for the outdoors, often found camping or fishing in the places that brought him peace and joy. His connection to nature was a reflection of his calm and generous spirit.
He also valued his time with close friends and family, creating bonds that will last beyond his time with us.
A true Chicagoan at heart, Brian was a loyal and passionate fan of both the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. His enthusiasm for his teams was unwavering, and many fond memories were made around shared games and spirited conversations.
Brian's kind heart, infectious laughter, and deep sense of loyalty will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 11 from 4 to 8 pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 12 at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1775 Grove St., Glenview. Live Stream Link. Interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, C/O Sr. Paulanne's Needy Family Fund, 1775 Grove St., Glenview, IL 60025.

There was a time when you could have said that Brian Corbett and I had our differences.... But we were still kids then, and in the almost 30 years since, Brian was someone who, whenever his name was mentioned, I thought of with nothing but respect, as well as the sense that we might even have ended up becoming friends had I not moved away.... And so this is how he will remain in my memory.
I am unhappy and rather shocked to hear of his passing; my sincere condolences and deepest sympathies are with Jolene and all of Brian's loved ones.
