Brian David Drews, age 70, of Berlin, died peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton.
He was born June 9, 1955, in Neenah, WI, the son of Stanley and Thelma Hanisch Drews. Brian was a 1974 graduate of Wautoma High School. On October 11, 1980, he was united in marriage to Cindy Clark at St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin.
Brian worked for Sand Knit in Berlin for 16 years and was in the bindery department at Ripon Community Printers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, building model trains and watching all sports. A favorite pastime was camping at Pearl Lake where an Old Fashioned or two was shared amongst friends. Brian was known for being the life of the party, always having a clever, funny punch line. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Courtney (Greg) Delaney and Breanne (Joe) Kasuboski; four grandchildren, Gavin and Harper Delaney and Ellie and Kaden Kasuboski; and many friends that are family. Brian was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brad Drews; and sister, Barb Henk.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Rob Schrader officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
