Brian Joseph Duchene, age 59, of Howell, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 in Livonia. He was born December 7, 1965 in Flint, Michigan the son of Joseph and Emily (Manning) Duchene. Brian is survived by his wife Cheryl (Yingling) Duchene, daughters Abigail (Josh Northrup) Burnett and Torey (Zachary) Schindler, son Matthew Duchene, step son Christopher Rabideau and grandsons Braiden Pankey, Caspean Rabideau and soon to be welcomed Hazel Northrup. Also survived by his brother Robert (Karen) Duchene, sisters Katie (Scott) Rockafellow, Dianne (Guy) Samples and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and step daughter Crystal Mason. Brian was a gravel train driver for Calo and Sons Trucking Company. He was an avid hunter of several types of game and loved spending time outdoors on his favorite piece of property. He also enjoyed fishing, was a skilled mechanic and loved spending time with his family and friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday January 25 at 11:00 AM at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, MacDonald's Chapel of Howell (visitation 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM). Visitation will take place Friday, January 24, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
