Brian Geipel, born on October 24, 1964, in Philadelphia, PA, lived a life defined by service, adventure, and dedication to his family. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Brian served his country with distinction, contributing to the programming of the Patriot missile system and earning a Top Gun award for his marksmanship with tank weapons. His military service took him across the world, including Frankfurt, Germany, shaping his disciplined yet adventurous spirit.
Beyond his time in uniform, Brian carried the same determination into every aspect of life. He was a skilled electrician specializing in commercial construction, he proudly wired the Delta Center and The Bee's Stadium. Brian was a proud father to his sons Brandon and Dakota, always eager to share their achievements with pride. Brian had a very special relationship with his grandson Jack, sharing countless fun moments riding on the side-by-side, wrestling on the floor, and playing with monster trucks. No matter where he was, Brian always had a bottle of Tabasco sauce on hand, ready to spice up any meal or situation. Whether riding his Harley, camping, fly fishing, or cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles, Brian embraced life with humor and stubbornness, he lived life on his own terms. His adventurous spirit was matched by his generous heart. A Freemason who believed in the power of giving, Brian was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Brian is survived by his mother Georgette (Bruce) Staron; his sons Brandon (Jenelle) Geipel and Dakota (Crystal) Geipel; his life partner Donna Brown; daughter Charity Griego (Mike Brothers); and his grandchildren Hunter, Kinleigh, Trevyn, Saylor, RadLee, Jack, and Atlas. He was preceded in death by his father Bruce Geipel and sister Denise Hanna.
As we remember Brian, let's honor him by sharing our fondest memories and uploading photos to his memorial page.
