Matthew 11:28 Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Brian Eric Gordon, age 50, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Avita Health System, Ontario. Brian was born on November 4, 1974 in Mansfield, Ohio

He met his future wife in 2008, getting married on March 14, 2014. Brian and Stephanie shared 17 wonderful years together and were the loves of each other's lives.

Brian and his son, Dylan Philip Gordon, enjoyed collecting superheroes and comics. Music was a big part of their life together and Brian introduced Dylan to a lot of older bands.

Brian and his son, Jacob Adam Gordon, shared a love for turkey hunting. They were with each other when they each got their first turkey. They loved watching sports together even though they liked separate teams.

Brian called his son, Ryan Lee Gordon, an "old soul "as he liked older things and just like his brother, Dylan and his father, they all shared a love for music, especially Metallica.

Brian was known locally as a handyman and loved being able to help people. Brian was a self employed CNC machine operator, he was very proud of recently purchasing his own machine. He loved Jesus and enjoyed spreading His truth. He was a member of Arc Church in Galion. On April 18, 2021 Brian and Stephanie were baptized together showing their love for Jesus. Brian loved gardening, especially hot peppers. He was an avid sports fan, he loved watching the Denver Broncos and Ohio State Buckeyes. His greatest joy was watching his children do what they loved including performances, singing and many sporting events.

In addition to his wife, Stephanie and three sons, Dylan Philip, Jacob Adam and Ryan Lee, Brian will be fondly remembered by his mother, Cindy Carter; his father and mother-in-law, Steve and Becky Stallard. He also leaves behind several extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Kevin Carter; his maternal grandparents, Bernie and Alma Lovellette; his sister, Jennifer Carter.

Revelation 21: 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death, mourning, crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away.

Brian's life will be celebrated by all who knew him in the near future. Snyder Funeral Home, Bellville Chapel is honored to assist Brian's family with his arrangements. We encourage his family and friends to leave a condolence or share a memory on his obituary page at www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com
