Brian Hirsch Obituary
Born February 24, 1971, in Cumberland, he was the son of Brian E. Hirsch, and the late Kathleen Bridget Kahne. He is also survived by his dog, Bubby, his former stepfather Paul Kahne, his very close friend: Fay Lancanster; his uncle David Thomas Mackert and aunt Denise Mackert Parreco, plus numerous cousins, April Parreco, John Junior Parreco, and Julia, and his uncle David's daughter Brittany. Brian's sister, Nicole Yvonne Hirsch passed away on June 5, 1987.
His father wanted it known that he died with 17 months sober from drugs and alcohol. But in the end, alcohol was but a symptom of a much deeper depression. That depression among other things was fueled by his loss of his mother and sister.
Per request, he will be cremated and no formal service is planned at the present time. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD to assist with the expenses.
