Brian Keith Hobbs, 55, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at his home. He was born February 18, 1970 in Evansville to the late Alma Jean (Kuhlman) and Earl James Hobbs.
Brian was a 1988 graduate of Central High School. He was an electrician for 34 years as a loyal member of the IBEW Local 16. Brian enjoyed 80s music and belting Elvis Christmas songs. He had a passion for taking ideas and bringing them to life. Brian loved working on projects and hands-on skills, he not only supported his family, but encouraged them as-well.
Beyond his hobbies and career, Brian took immense pride in his family & cherished every moment with them. He would be the first to ensure his family traditions would be carried on through generations. Brian always knew what stories to share, and those will forever be held in his family's minds as time well spent. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Hobbs; sons, Dalton and Drake Hobbs; daughter Morgan Hobbs; brothers, Randy, Michael and Gary Hobbs; sisters, Cathy Gerard and Karen Watkins; uncle, Mark Hobbs; along with their spouses Courtney, Dreya, Ginger, Erin, Karen, Donnie, Steve, Scott, Dianne, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Hobbs.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 First Ave., Evansville with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 704 N. First Ave., Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Father Ted Tempel officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
