Brian E. Kenny, Sr., 67, of Windsor passed away on December 27, 2024, with his children and loved ones around him. Over the last few years, he fought with health issues and was taken care of by his children and his doting sister-in-law Anne Hulick who cared and advocated for him tirelessly until the end. Brian had a passion for history, cars, the beach and watching his children grow up playing sports. He enthusiastically shared great stories of growing up in Windsor with all his friends, taking summer vacations in Maine with his family, growing up in the Wilton Rd., Salem Cir and Plymouth St. neighborhood and playing football with a Hall of Fame team for Windsor High School.
Brian will be loved and missed by his children Meghan Kenny-Adams, Brian Kenny Jr., and Colin Kenny, his sister-in law Anne Hulick, his son-in law Andrew Adams, daughter in-law Caylee Kenny, his granddaughters Roselynne and Emory Kenny, lifelong friend Mell Hobson and cousins the Kennedys. Brian will be long loved by his high school and childhood home neighborhood friends, and family in Ireland. He will be reunited with his brother Kevin Kenny, mother Elizabeth, Father Edward "Ned" Kenny, and family and friends who preceded him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4-7PM at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT 06095. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Brian's memory may be made to the Connecticut Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 101 Centerpoint Drive Ste. 107, Middletown, CT 06457.
