Brian Charles Kepler, of Red Lion, entered into rest at Wellspan York Hospital on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the age of 65. He was the loving husband of Martha J. (Knudsen) Kepler to whom he married on January 14, 1978, sharing 46 years together.
Brian was born in York on May 12, 1958 to the late John W. and Dawn E. (Gross) Kepler. Brian graduated from Dallastown High School, class of 1976 and was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran. Upon his honorable discharge, he worked in the transportation industry, most recently for several local bus companies as a school bus driver from 1998 to 2015. He possessed exceptional musical talent, playing the piano, trombone, hand bells and was involved in the Madricals during his high school years at Dallastown. Brian loved to sing and attend school concerts of his beloved grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Charles E. Kepler and wife, Melissa of Lower Windsor. Brian adored Missy and considered her to be his daughter. He also leaves his grandchildren, Gavin Hale, Cordelia Kepler, and Carmela Kepler, all of Lower Windsor as well as his sister, Jane Mummert and husband, Mike of Florida. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
