Brian Kucich Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial on Mar. 2, 2022.
Brian M. Kucich, of Berkeley Heights, N.J., beloved son of Michael Kucich and Ida Rogers, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the age of 54. After spending most of his childhood in Washington state, Brian graduated from Johnson & Whales University in Providence, Rhode Island with an Associates' degree in Advertising Communication, a Bachelors' Degree in Marketing and an MBA in International Business.
Brian's enthusiasm for the stock market led to a very successful career on Wall Street, and his New York City residence put him as close as possible to his home away from home – a.k.a. Yankee Stadium. Brian's love for New York sports spanned well beyond baseball. He was also (fortunately or unfortunately depending on the season) an avid New York Knicks and New York Giants fan.
But there was no bigger passion for Brian than watching his boys play sports. Whether it was 20 degrees below zero or 110 degrees above, Brian was out on those fields cheering louder than anyone else. He was Xander, Asher and Gage's biggest fan. He celebrated every win and empathized with every loss.
Brian was all-in.in everything. The love he had for his family and his friends emanated not just from his heart but from his entire body. He was so incredibly smart, compassionate, supportive, the list goes on.. And lucky for him, his wit and charm lit up the room because he was certainly not a very good dancer or singer but he did love to do both.
Among the countless people who will remember Brian with love and admiration are his loving parents Ida Rogers and Michael Kucich; his stepmother, Bette Kucich; his dear companion, Marci Walner Ryvicker; cherished sons, Xander, Asher and Gage Kucich; stepsons, Max and Chase Ryvicker; stepsister, Kelly Maisano; his former wife, Alison Meletta Brady; and of course his beloved dog, Linus. Brian was also predeceased by his stepbrother, Jody Berger. All of us will miss Brian deeply.
