Brian Lais Obituary
Brian was born on October 5, 1970, to Linda (Catello) Howland and the late Walter R. Lais. He graduated from Amsterdam High School and afterwards attended a trade school in Albany for plumbing and heating. He obtained his certificate and went on to work various trade jobs in this field, with his most recent employment being for a local oil company.
He enjoyed going to concerts and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Brian was predeceased by his father Walter Lais; maternal and paternal grandparents; as well as his mentor Joseph Sterba.
He is survived by his loving mother Linda Howland; brothers Donald Lais, Robert Howland, and Jason Wright; several aunts and uncles; friend and roommate Larry; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Brian's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

My sincerest condolences to all of Brians family.
I was shocked and saddened to read that Brian had passed.
I worked with Joe and Brian at the hotel.
Brian did the tile work in my kitchen, many, many, yrs ago, and it still looks great!
Rest in peace Brian.
