Brian David Mason

Brian David Mason, a devoted father and skilled craftsman, passed away peacefully, at Select Specialty Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY on Monday, June 23, 2025. He was 52 years old. Born with a strong work ethic and an even stronger heart, Brian dedicated his life to building-both in his career and in the lives of those around him. He worked tirelessly in the construction industry as a hardscaper, rising through the ranks to become a respected construction manager and accomplished bricklayer. His handiwork can be seen in countless structures, each one a quiet testament to his attention to detail, his artistry, and his commitment to excellence. Brian didn't just build with brick and mortar-he built masterpieces, and he took great pride in every single one. Brian was a proud graduate of Eastern Illinois University, where he earned his bachelor's degree. While at EIU, he became a lifelong member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, forging friendships that lasted decades and shaping his values of brotherhood, leadership, and integrity. Outside of work, Brian found peace and joy in the simple things. He loved fishing, hitting the golf course, and cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs with unwavering loyalty-through the wins and the heartbreaks alike. He wore his team colors proudly. But above all else, Brian's greatest joy in life came from being a father. His daughters were his world, his purpose, and his proudest accomplishment. Brian beamed at their successes, supported them through every challenge, and loved them unconditionally. His guidance, humor, and warmth will echo in their lives forever. Brian is survived by his loving daughters, Ashley Mason, Samantha Mason and Bailey Mason; parents, Wayne and Beverly Mason; brothers, Derek (Jennifer) Mason and Chad (Katie) Mason; former wife, Erin Mason; nieces and nephews, Jackson Mason, Emma Mason and Finley Mason; as well as countless friends and family members who will miss him deeply. A celebration of Brian's life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Villa Hills Civic Club, 729 Rogers Road, Villa Hills, KY 41017, from 1:30 PM until 5:00 PM.
