Brian Muffie Obituary

Brian R. Muffie, age 55, of Erie, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Erie on November 16, 1968, son of the late Robert Muffie and Rosemary Szymanowski.
Brian was a 1986 graduate of Tech Memorial High School and studied at Mercyhurst University and Villanova. He was employed at AirBorn, Inc. Brian enjoyed playing online games, was an avid music lover and followed many friends in their live music bands. He was an amazing father and treasured time with his children.
Brian is survived by three children, Meghan Muffie, Rachel Muffie and Samantha Muffie; and one brother, T.J. Hammerman and wife, Corinne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a dear grandmother, Betty Angerer.
Friends will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Saturday, September 28th, from 2 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brian's family through the funeral home.

Omg Brian this is such heartbreaking news. I met you working at u.p.s and you were such a great person.. you were one of my favorite supervisors because you always made work fun and enjoyable. I remember you would always bring candy for us and made sure it was always filled. I´m really happy that god put such a wonderful person in my life even if it was only for a short while because you weren´t just a supervisor you were also a friend. My first week at work you were already showing me pictures of your daughters and telling me how beautiful they were. They are so lucky to have you and you will be missed rest in peace Brian.

Dear Brian's Family, I was saddened to hear that Brian had passed. I was aware he had health issues but didn't expect this at such an early age. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May Brian now rest in peace.
