Brian J. Smith, a proud veteran, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
The son of Wanda L Smith, Brian grew up and lived in Independence, Kentucky, graduated from Simon Kenton High School, served in the United States Army and had a successful career as a master bricklayer.
Brian is survived by his mother, Wanda Smith, his siblings Tracey Kelch, Greg Smith, Terri (Mike) Rehmet, Phil (Jill) Smith, Barry (Nataliia) Smith, and several extended family members.
A private service honoring the life of Brian will be held by the immediate family members.
In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to Hope Ministries of Florence Baptist Church.
