Brian J Toht

Brian J. Toht, age 52, of Sayreville, passed away on December 8, 2025, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in New Brunswick, Brian grew up in South River, where he spent most of his life before making Sayreville his home five years ago. He worked as a chemical operator for Lanxess in Woodbridge for the last five years. Brian was a fun, easygoing, and deeply likable guy-someone whose personality drew people in and whose presence made every gathering better. Family and friends were at the center of his world. He liked traveling, trips to Atlantic City, days at the beach, boating, and enjoyed being a foodie. To all who knew him, Brian was the kind of person who made life lighter and brighter, and he will be profoundly missed.

He is predeceased by his father, Ronald Toht Sr. Surviving are, the love of his life, Sueann McCloskey; his mother, Josephine Toht; his brothers, Ronald Toht Jr. and Thomas Toht and his wife Alissa; his niece and nephews, Taylor, Trevor, and Tommy; his stepdaughter, Samantha Stary; his beloved dog Callie; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 12pm to 4pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. A private cremation will follow.
