Brian Weber Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Scott Funeral Home on Nov. 16, 2025.

Brian Lee Weber, lovingly known by many as "Buck" - a nickname he earned in his high school baseball years because he could run like a buck - was a brave and trustworthy man who loved his family deeply. He found joy in the simple things in life and carried many talents, even when he didn't always recognize them himself.
Brian loved baseball from an early age and excelled at every level - T-ball, Little League, high school, and college. Baseball was one of the places where he truly shined. He also spent many years mentoring men, helping them navigate setbacks and disappointments with compassion and wisdom.
For over 21 years, Brian was proudly sober and active in Alcoholics Anonymous, where he formed meaningful friendships and offered steady support to others walking the same path. He enjoyed taking long joy rides, clearing his mind on the open road, listening to his 60's/70's rock music and relaxing with his Marlboro Reds - simple rituals that brought him peace.
Brian was a devoted Christian, finding strength, hope, and comfort in God throughout his life. He was also a proud father and grandfather, and nothing meant more to him than the love he held for his family. His belief in Heaven gave him peace, and his family finds comfort knowing he is now at rest in the presence of the Lord.
He had a warm sense of humor, loved a good laugh, and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Brian was born on June 18, 1955, to Ronald Carl Weber and Joann Fawbush, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter Bryana Dowell, his son-in-law Jay Dowell, and his grandson Elijah Dowell. He is also survived by his siblings Mike Weber and Kristen McDonald, along with many extended family members who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Danny Weber and Kendall Weber.
There is a beautiful saying that rings true today: "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
" Well done, Dad, brother, and friend. We love you. Brian Lee - enter into your eternal rest."
A celebration of life will be held on December 5th from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at 100 Preservation Pl, Jeffersonville, IN 47131·
