Brian Lacy Wetz

Brian Lacy Wetz, 66, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on December 31st, 2025, after his battle with heart failure. He was born on December 16th, 1959, and spent his entire life in New Braunfels, where he graduated from Canyon High School in 1979 and built a life centered around hard work and providing for his children.
Brian was a devoted father who worked tirelessly, often juggling multiple jobs, to create a better future for his family. He was fully committed to his career as an insurance agent at Farmers Insurance and spent decades expertly cultivating his clientele before his retirement. One of his greatest joys was owning, living in, and eventually restoring his dream home.
Honoring his wishes, Brian will not have a traditional funeral. His ashes will instead be buried beneath a newly planted live oak tree, symbolizing his continued presence through nature.
He is survived by his children, Chad, Courtney, and Caroline, along with their spouses; his grandchildren, Parker, Anna, Gabriel, Easton, and Austyn; and his siblings. His family is grateful for the time they had with him and will forever remember him as a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
