Brian Scott Worby, 54 of Toluca formerly of Montgomery and Streator, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator have been entrusted with arrangements.
Brian was born February 13, 1971 in Aurora, a son of Clifford and Shirley (Shannon) Worby. He married Carol Cockrum on November 1, 1990 in Geneva.
He is survived by three children, Stephanie (Jake) Greider of Toluca, Brittany (David) Clark of Montgomery, and Joe Cichorz of Montgomery; 7 grandchildren, Mason Gladhill, Beau, Blakely and Melodie Greider, Richard and Alister Mercker, and Zoey Jane Cichorz; and three brothers, Robert Worby of Montgomery, Barry (Bridget) Worby of Marseilles, and David (Jessica) Worby of Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Eli Scott Clark; two sisters, Becky Worby and Barbara Behrens; a nephew, Brandon Richardson; and a cousin, Chuck Foss III.
Brian enjoyed spending time with his family and playing games on his tablet and ordering from Temu.
