Brianna Elizabeth Henn

Through a tragic no fault car accident, Brianna Elizabeth Henn, 17, of Hooper's Creek, NC was called home as her faith became sight on Monday morning, October 13, 2025.

She was born November 8, 2007, to Bryan and Canissa Henn. Brianna will also be greatly missed by her loving little sister, Courtney, also of the home.

Brianna was a senior at North Henderson High School. She was president of the HOSA club (Health Occupations Students of America), president of the Hype Team, very active member of the yearbook staff for all four high school years and a teacher's assistant in the front office. Brianna was a member of the North High Tennis team and active in many other clubs and events at the school. She was very involved in the S.T.A.R. camp program of Henderson County from 5th grade as a camper to several years of being a counselor thereafter. Brianna had applied to attend college to work towards becoming an oncology nurse.

Brianna was a very motivated teenager and was actively saving for a new car. She worked as many as 3 jobs at a time. She was also an avid outdoorsman and loved to deer hunt and fish with her dad.

Above all, Brianna loved the Lord! She accepted the Lord as her Savior on September 9, 2017 and from that moment on she began striving to spread the Gospel to others so that they could come to know her Lord. She was a beloved and active member at Woodland Terrace Missionary Baptist Church where her father is the pastor. She sang specials weekly with her sister and other family and friends.

Brianna never met a stranger and lit up every room she walked into. There are not enough words to express how much she will be missed and how her light will continue to shine.

Brianna was loved by so many. She is survived by grandparents, Ken and Dollie Lewis and Charles and Louise Henn (late Betty Henn) and a great grandparent, Alta Lewis. The remaining family is too great in number to say all of their names, but all will miss her terribly.

Services will be held on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at Fletcher First Baptist Church at 3pm with a fellowship reception following at Hooper's Creek Baptist Church fellowship building. Brianna will lie in repose one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the youth fund at her church (Woodland Terrace Missionary Baptist Church, Asheville) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Brianna.
