Bridget Marie Dougherty passed away peacefully on August 18,2025, at the age of 61. She lived a happy and full life and loved being with her family.
Bridge is survived by eight siblings, fifteen nieces and nephews, and twelve grand nieces and nephews.
Earlier in her life, Bridget participated in Special Olympics as a downhill skier. She also worked at Pizza Hut. She loved sharing stories about both of those experiences! More recently, Bridget found great joy in going to her day program, going on vacations, and growing flowers and vegetables in her garden. She will be remembered for her big, delightful smile that she shared with everyone!
A celebration of Bridget’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Horan and McConaty Funeral Service, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO, 80227. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HighPointe Services, 7323 S. Alton Way, Englewood, CO 80112.
