Bridget Murdock, 95, of Raquette Lake and formerly of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at her home.
She was born on March 2, 1930 in Auerback, Germany, the daughter of the late, Curt and Franzika (Holl) Schneider and graduated from German schools. On January 2, 1950 Bridget was united in marriage to William E. Murdock in (place) and shared a blessed union of 58 years until his passing on April 4, 2008. She was employed in the cafeteria with Fayetteville Manlius High School until her retirement in (Year).
Bridget was very talented in crocheting and made many blankets for family and friends. She enjoyed a good book and exercising by taking long walks throughout Inlet's nature.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Lauren Murdock; grandsons, Kurt and Steven Murdock and cousins, Helen Estabrook and Vera (last name). She was predeceased by her sons, Thomas and David Murdock.
Bridget's family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Raquette Lake and Inlet Ambulance Services and Matt Miller for all their wonderful care and compassion. They would also like to thank the Hamilton County Sheriff's Dept. for their prompt response and care.
In keeping with Bridget's wishes, there will be no Public Visitation Graveside services will be in the spring in Riverview Cemetery, Old Forge. Arrangements are with Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 128 Fern Ave., Old Forge.
Remembrances in Bridget's name may be made to Inlet and Raquette Lake Volunteer Ambulance or to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
