Brittaney was born June 20, 1984, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dwight Ray "Tom" Thompson and Katherine Marie Jordan. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended Eastern Idaho VoTech College.
Brittaney made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Brittaney worked as a CNA and manager at and in customer service at various places while working on her degree.
She enjoyed dancing, gymnastics, and loved to surround herself with friends and family.

The love she had for her brothers burned so bright, she watched after them and loved them with her whole heart. Not only was she mom’s best friend, and mini me, she also took pride in helping her mom care for her brothers. It was her most cherished thing in life.
Brittaney is survived by her mother, Katherine Jordan of Idaho Falls, ID; her brother, Hunter Gage Ririe; and her beloved dog Toby, who she adored.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tyler Daniel Thompson; father, Tom Thompson; stepfather, Matthew McNeel; grandparents, Judy Ralls, Winnie Thompson, and Blaine Thompson; aunt, Ginger Whitworth; and cousin, Matthew Dean Moore.
