Brittany Morgan Mannix, 28, of Farr West, Utah, passed away on October 12, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on August 12, 1997, in Ogden, Utah, to Kelly P. Mannix and Candice Blanck England.
Brittany had a heart as big as her smile. Her soul was vibrant, kind, and accepting of everyone she met. She was a beautiful, bright, and talented young woman whose warmth and compassion touched all who knew her. Even when she was struggling, she was a light for others — always offering a hug, a listening ear, or a helping hand.
A gifted cook and passionate advocate for health and wellness, Brittany loved sharing her plant-based creations and inspiring others to live with purpose and care. Her food was as nourishing as her spirit, and those who had the joy of tasting it knew it came from the heart.
She volunteered her time generously, giving her energy and love to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Center for Hope. Her dedication to service earned her the AmeriCorps Award for her outstanding volunteer work. Brittany’s compassion, empathy, and selflessness were truly exceptional.
She loved nature, hiking, music, peony flowers, the farmers market, and hula hooping. Every one of her passions reflected her free and joyful spirit.
Brittany is survived by her loving mother, Candice Blanck England, and stepfather, Richard England; her father, Kelly P. Mannix, and stepmother, Penny Porter Mannix; her grandparents Bruce T. Blanck, Don and Lorraine Roundy; her uncle, Jory T. Blanck (Liz); and cousins Haelee and Oaklee.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Brad T. Mannix, and her grandmother, Linda V. Blanck.
Sometimes the weight of darkness is more than one person can carry.
Brittany’s light will be deeply missed but will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her.

As we remember Brittany, may we hold close the words that reflect her heart and her light:
But love the one you hold,
And I’ll be your goal,
To have and to hold
A lover of the light.
Remain a lover of the light through all the darkness.
