Brittany Savannah Moreno
February 5, 1988 – May 15, 2025
Brittany Savannah Moreno, born on February 5, 1988, in Santa Maria, California, to Angela Barbre (now Phipps) and Ronald Moreno, was a radiant soul whose light touched countless lives during her 37 years. From childhood, Brittany found joy and solace in the arts-her not so graceful yet exuberant dancing, vibrant drawings, heartfelt journaling, and a singing voice that captivated all who heard it. Her creativity, full of heart and authenticity, was a gift she shared freely, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Brittany's heart belonged to her two beloved daughters, Kaleyana Ferrucci and Kendall Stacy, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. With immense courage and selflessness, she ensured their happiness and stability by entrusting their care to those best equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment-Kaleyana to her grandparents, Angela and David Phipps, and her father, Michael Ferrucci, and Kendall Stacy to her father, Larry Stacy. Brittany's devotion as a mother shone through her sacrifices, prioritizing her daughters' well-being above all else, a testament to her boundless love and strength in the face of her own battle with addiction.
With her electric personality and infectious laughter, Brittany had a unique gift for making others feel valued and understood, embracing them through their imperfections. In her journey through recovery, she became a beacon of hope for those battling addiction. Her generosity, kindness, and relentless spirit inspired many, even as she faced her own challenges. To those in recovery reading this or joining us at her service: Brittany saw you, believed in you, and walked beside you. Her courage reminds us all that each step toward healing is a victory, and she would urge you to keep going, one day at a time, with faith and love.
Brittany's faith in Christ was the cornerstone of her life. She rejoiced in His name with unwavering devotion, sharing her love for God with everyone around her. Guided by Psalm 30:5, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning," she found hope in every dawn and inspired others to do the same. Her vibrant spirit-comical, breathtakingly beautiful, and deeply loving-encouraged everyone to embrace life's highs and lows with grace and gratitude.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lila Harralson, Dale Barbre, Bill and Leona Raper, Ruth Donley, and Margaret Phipps, as well as her infant sister, Kayla Raper. Brittany's memory will be cherished by her mother, Angela Phipps, and her stepfather David Phipps, who became her devoted father figure at age 12, sharing a bond filled with love and guidance; her father, Ronald Moreno; her stepfather David Raper; her aunt Darla Barbre, whose cherished, near-maternal bond with Brittany was a cornerstone of her life; her brothers, Jett Phipps, Craig Phipps, and Elijah Moreno; her sister, Kailee Hatcher, and her husband, Michael Hatcher; her daughters, Kaleyana Ferrucci and Kendall Stacy; her grandparents, Carl Harrelson and Ken Phipps; her aunt and uncle Laurie and Rene Larricq; her cousins, Tiffany and Nick Gonzales, Corey and Laura Burkett, Zachary and Valerie Burkett, and Daniel Burkett, along with their cherished families; and a wide circle of family and friends touched by her radiant spirit.
Brittany entered the arms of our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in
Springfield, Missouri. Her legacy of love, resilience, and hope lives on in all who knew her. To honor Brittany, we invite you to carry forward her light through acts of kindness, support for those in recovery, and a commitment to living each day with joy. For those struggling with addiction, let Brittany's strength inspire you to take the next step-reach out, hold on, and know that you are never alone.

A celebration of Brittany's life will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home in
Branson, Missouri, on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Brittany's cousin, Cory Burkett, with a eulogy offered by one of her closest friends, Matthew Parker. A dinner and celebration of life will follow at 4:30 PM, with details provided after the funeral. In keeping with her vibrant spirit, we invite guests to wear bright, colorful attire instead of traditional black. To honor Brittany's legacy of guiding others through addiction, and in lieu of flowers, we encourage contributions to addiction support and recovery programs, to uplift and empower those on their journey to healing. Inspired by Brittany's compassionate heart, may each person who knew her continue her mission by offering comfort and hands-on support to those battling addiction, as 2 Corinthians 1:4 affirms, "He comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
