Brittany Danielle Wilson Anderson, age 32 of Commerce, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024.
Born on August 10, 1992, in Gainesville, she was a daughter of David and Angela Westmoreland Wilson. Brittany was a 2011 honor graduate of Banks County High School (FFA Alumni), who also held a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Physical Education. She was a co-owner of Resurrected Garage. Being a triathlete, she enjoyed competing in numerous foot races, as well as hiking and biking. She was also an artist, who enjoyed riding motorcycles, and was fond of animals. Brittany was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church and was currently attending The Jefferson Church. For some time, she participated in a yearly car show that helped raise money for the Arcade Congregational Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Howard Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of five years, Daniel T. Anderson of Commerce; sister and brother-in-law, Caitlyn Smith (Jacob) of Alto; grandparents, Thomas and Sue Westmoreland of Cornelia and Rachel Wilson of Maysville; niece, Elvie Smith; nephew, Case Smith; mother-in-law, Kathy Anderson of Maysville; father-in-law, Sam Anderson of Athens; Daniel's aunt and uncle, Patsy Sherwood (Johnny) and uncle and aunt, Ricky Garrett (Gloria) all of Commerce; numerous extended relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services are 2 pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Patsy Sherwood and Rev. Mark Stroud officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery with Dr. Brian James officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the funeral home.
