In Loving Memory of Brooke Lynn Renaud
January 13, 2012-July 7, 2025
With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of our precious daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend, Brooke Lynn Renaud, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at her home.
Brooke was born on January 13, 2012, and from the very beginning, she showed strength of spirit that inspired everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Brooke faced life’s challenges with incredible bravery and grace. Though her journey was not easy, Brooke’s joy, laughter, and sweet presence brought meaning to every moment. Brooke loved listening to her favorite Bluey, Muppets, and Disney shows, playing with her toys while in her activity chair, and being with her cat, Winnie. Brooke taught us all about unconditional love, patience, and the beauty of a life lived with heart.
Brooke is deeply loved and remembered by her parents, David Renaud and Nichole Surritt; her grandparents, Lorri Renaud, David Renaud (Louise), Bob Trachta and Tammy Reynolds (Don); her great-grandmother, Sherran Trachta; her aunts Gabby Renaud and Ashley Selvedge; her cousins Stetson Selvedge and Everett Selvedge; and the many nurses, therapists and friends who touched her life.
Brooke may have had a body that was limited, but her spirit was boundless. She gave us a lifetime of love in just 13 short years. We will carry her in our hearts, always.
There will be a celebration of life planned in Texas at a future date.
