Bruce Edward Clark, 55, of Sandstone, WV passed peacefully into the arms of the master on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the University of Kentucky, Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY following a long illness.
Born April 14, 1970 in Chicago, IL to the late Marilyn S. Blackburn and the late Herbert L. Clark. Also, preceding him in death was his only child, Garrett John Clark; maternal grandmother, Mary J. (Lynch) Blackburn and several uncles and cousins.
Bruce was a Heavy Equipment Operator most of his life until he decided to move back to WV, which he dearly loved. Bruce enjoyed cycling, hiking, playing the guitar, being out in nature, working on/ rebuilding cars and reading just to name a few. Bruce loved life overall, despite the last few years, when asked how he was doing he’d reply, “I’m alright, the world’s all wrong!”
Those left to cherish his life are his five sisters, Donna Friend (Rodney) of Big Rock, VA, Patricia Northern (Dan), Leslie Cales (Kris) both of Sandstone, WV, Cathryn Clark of Glen Rogers, WV and Stacy Clark (Nick) of Georgetown, KY; one brother, Jeffrey Clark of Louisiana; many nephews and nieces; great nephews and nieces, dear cousins, aunts and uncles and many dear friends from near and far.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Ramp Holiness Church, Sandstone, WV on January 10, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. *WEATHER PERMITTING*
