Rowlett, TX. Born on February 21, 1946, in Weatherford, OK, Bruce's journey through life was marked by joy, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Warren Irven and Dorthy Lee (Bruce) Dibler, as well as his brothers Richard and Duane Dibler, Bruce's legacy of love and merriment lives on through his beloved wife of 44 years, Linda F. Dibler; his children, Tony Scott Dibler and wife Melissa, Lisa Catherine French and husband Mark, and Jerald Smith; his cherished grandchildren, Conner, Cole, Trevin, Mackenzie, and Bryce; and his siblings, Larry Dibler and Debbie Shaw.
A longtime resident of Rowlett, having lived there for 28 years, Bruce was an active and valued member of the First Rowlett United Methodist Church. His commitment to his faith and community was evident in the way he lived his life, always reaching out with a helping hand and a bright smile.
Bruce's professional life was as vibrant as his personality. His colleagues and friends will remember him as the go-to person for a good laugh or a wise word. His passion for innovation and technology was not just a career, but a way of life, as Bruce was known to be a true techie, always up-to-date with the latest electronic gadgets. His curiosity and enthusiasm for the digital world were matched only by his love for country & western music, which he enjoyed both listening to and singing along with.
Bruce was an avid movie buff as well as pro and college football fan. His love for sports was a significant part of his life, with many days spent on the golf course or at the bowling alley, where he not only played but also formed lasting friendships. Bruce's sense of humor was legendary. A natural jokester, he relished in teasing his friends and family, always in good spirit, and never failing to elicit laughter and joy wherever he went. His playful nature was a gift to all who knew him, creating memories that will continue to bring smiles to faces for years to come.
