Bruce Falkenberg Obituary
Bruce was born on January 17, 1944 in Marinette, WI to Carl and Margaret (nee: Hunting) Falkenberg. He was a graduate of Marinette Catholic Central High School and Commercial Trades Institute. Bruce proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1963-1966, and also served in Vietnam from 1965-1966.
After his military service, he continued his career in telecommunications, holding leadership roles in management and training for Team Electronics, Cortelco ITT, and Panasonic before his retirement in 2002.
Bruce married Dawn Johnson on July 10, 1965 at St. Joseph church in Marinette, WI. They moved to Rosemount, MN in 1977 where they raised their 5 children, creating a large, loving extended family.
Bruce was a devout Catholic, a dedicated longtime servant of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a proud member in the Rosemount Knights of Columbus. He always found a way to selflessly serve others with gentle kindness.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Robert, Charles, and James Falkenberg.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; children, Tim, Scott, Jeff, Dan, and Laura (Lance) Owens; 8 grandchildren, Cristi (Tom) Tan, Samantha (Joe) Lund, Mike, Beau, Ben (Mariah) Falkenberg, Kasie (Matt) Bruess, Ruby Owens; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Ken (Marjie), Kirby (Claudia), Ann, Mark (Terri), Mary Falkenberg; sister-in-law, Sally Falkenberg, along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Church of St. Joseph, 13900 Biscayne Ave West, Rosemount, MN. Two visitations will be held: Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, MN (952-432-2001) and Friday, December 12, 2025 at 10 AM, 1 hr prior to Mass. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery on Monday, Dec 15, 2025 at 11 AM. Memorials will be donated to the Rosemount Knights of Columbus # 5569.

We will always remember Bruce ringing the bells at mass during consecration. On a special occasion he let our daughter do it once. She will forever remember that special moment.
