Bruce David Hunt, 69, of Palmyra, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA. Born on August 5, 1956, in Philadelphia, Bruce was the son of the late Charles H. Hunt, Sr. and Elaine (Brown) Hunt.

He was a proud graduate of William Saul High School and went on to earn an associate's degree. Bruce dedicated much of his career to the grocery industry, where he managed several stores. Whether behind the scenes or on the floor, he was known for his strong work ethic and compassionate leadership. He was a member of St. George Episcopal Church in Philadelphia and an E-goer of Enon Church in Philadelphia.

A true lover of music, Bruce found joy and inspiration in the sounds of jazz, soul, and gospel. Those who knew Bruce will remember his kind and caring soul, his ability to make everyone feel seen and heard, and his deep love for serving others. Being around people brought him happiness, and he gave that happiness back tenfold through his warmth and grace.

Bruce leaves behind his sister, Patricia Hunt Stilley (husband Kyle); his nephews, Kyle C. Stilley, Matthew B. Stilley, and Tyrone T. Hunt; his nieces, Catherine Hunt and Caryn Cavanaugh; the Bugg Family, who helped with his care; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles H. Hunt, Jr.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
