It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bruce Arnold Lehmann, age 73, who passed away December 27, 2025, in Rexburg, Idaho.

Bruce was born on January 25, 1952, in Glendale, California.

He went to school in Newbury Park, California, attending Walnut Elementary School and Newbury Park High School. He then attended Rick’s College in Rexburg, Idaho.

Bruce was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving his country selflessly for 8 years, including during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Thailand, Texas, and Idaho.

After his military service, Bruce went on to become a printer, working at several area print shops in Ventura County. Bruce had a keen interest in new technologies and was an early adopter of personal computers, quickly becoming a self-taught expert. Bruce also worked as the Production Manager for the Acorn Newspaper in Agoura Hills, California. He was well known for his ability to keep the paper up and running, while meeting a firm deadline. Bruce then moved to Idaho to help care for his mother. He lived in both St. Anthony and Rexburg.

Bruce expressed his political views passionately. He believed in our country’s constitution and the power of free speech.

He enjoyed listening to a variety of musical genres and helped shape the musical tastes of his family and friends through his recommendations.

Bruce appreciated the art of anime and collected various anime figurines.

Bruce is survived by his seven children: April Brooks (Lehmann), Rebecca Lehmann Teczon (Ricky), Ryan Lehmann (Stacey Beaman), Kevin Lehmann (Miriam Pittioni), Christopher Lehmann, Caitlin Lehmann Scott (Adam), Sarah Lehmann, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

He is also survived by his siblings, Christine Lehmann Everton (Jon), Daniel Lehmann (Diane), Anna Lehmann Dexter (Patrick), Barbara Lehmann Parker (Brad Tharp).

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Richard George Lehmann, and Marilyn Ruth Miksch Lehmann.

Throughout the course of his life, Bruce was married three times.

Bruce will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Interment will be at Los Angeles National Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating Bruce’s life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to donate to a nonprofit animal rescue organization, either in Bruce’s name or in honor of his two cats, Mama Cat and Cutie Pie.
