He worked as an elevator mechanic, also as a dedicated volunteer firefighter and little league coach at the Island Community Center. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and gardening.
A Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 11:00AM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.

Bruce was an asset to any endeavor undertaken be it the volunteer fire department or helping out friends with a problem or a repair. Condolences to his many friends and especially Dee and Jarrod.

Every time I needed him he was always there for me. He was the best ! we loved him he was family to us. Mr. Fix it n he fixed it all - he will be missed n always be loved for all the good deeds he did for Paul n Mama Jo - Rest in peace Bruce - GOD BE WITH YOU ALWAYS.
