Bruce Moore Obituary
Funeral services for Bruce Kevin Moore, 70, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce St., Vivian, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be held at Good Exchange Cemetery in McCleod, Texas. Officiating the service will be Matthew Simpson.
Bruce was born on July 12, 1954 in Vivian, Louisiana to Vernon and Hazel Moore and passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He enjoyed traveling and camping at the lake. He cherished his GTO. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vernon Moore and Daniel Moore and sisters, Sandra Derr and Deborah Paddie. Left to cherish his memory are his life partner, Sheryl Blaufuss Marlowe; mother of his children, Quana Webb Moore; son, Jeremy Moore and wife, Joni; daughter, Lindsey Moore Scheel and husband, Branon; sister, Janice Sepulvado; a host of nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Joann Moore and Carolyn Webb Rasner; grandchildren, Chamberlin Moore and Ava Moore and other extended family members including 3 step-sons and their wives, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Honoring Bruce as pallbearers will be Jeremy Moore, Chamberlin Moore, Branon Scheel, Jeremy Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Peyton Simpson, Alec Simpson, Garrett Simpson and Kyle Bryant.
