Bruce A. Mull passed away August 20, 2025 after a courageous 11 year battle with cancer. He was born on May 21, 1951 to Geraldine (Longenecker) Mull and Kent Brechtel in Mishawaka. He was later adopted by his step-father, Lee Mull. He worked as a journeyman machine repairman and millwright for over 45 years in the South Bend/Mishawaka auto industry. His favorite pastime was bass fishing and upkeep of his pristine lawn.

On June 3rd, 1972, he married the love of his life, Janel (Lewellen) Mull. She preceded him in death on December 13, 2023. Together they raised 2 children, Brooke (Mull) Gentry and Corey Mull.

He is also preceded in death by his mother, father, 2 half-brothers, and his beloved grandmother and grandfather (Jennie Ainsley Longenecker and Leroy Longenecker). He is survived by his sister Bonnie Minix, his two children, grandchildren Jared Gentry (Selina Cunningham Gentry), Alison Mull and Benjamin Mull, two great-grandchildren, Jonah Gentry and Ivy Gentry and countless friends.

Bruce wished to personally thank Dr. Bilal Ansari and the entire staff at MHO for the care, kindness and over a decade of life they gifted him with their medicines and treatment.

A private graveside service will be held for family at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please generously donate to Pet Refuge of South Bend in Bruce's memory.
