Bruce Roberts Obituary
FLORIDA - Bruce E. Roberts, 77, formerly of Ravena, passed away at home on August 2, 2024. He was the son of the late Bradley and Marion Roberts.
Bruce graduated from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School. He retired after many years of service with Owens Corning in Feura Bush. Bruce also served as a police officer for the Village of Ravena and the Town of Coxsackie. He was a longtime member of the Ravena Hose Co. and served as a fireman and fire policeman. Bruce enjoyed his time with the Tribunal Motorcycle Club and traveling.
Bruce was very patriotic and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved his country and served it well.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Roberts; and many cousins. Bruce was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen A. Roberts.
Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. All other services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Contributions in memory of Bruce may be made to The Ravena Hose Co., 116 Main St., Ravena, N.Y. 12143 or New Life Family Worship Center Building Fund, CR 21, Hawthorne, Fla. 32640.
