Mr. Bruce Louis Schneggenburger, 56, of Advance, NC, passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident with his wife, Stephanie Fletcher Schneggenburger on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born December 7, 1966 in Buffalo, NY. Bruce was a member of Center Grove Church and was employed with Westrock Company for over 32 years. He was very passionate about his yard work, playing golf, and a lifelong Florida State fan. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ann Berry Schneggenburger and his first wife, Melody Schneggenburger. Surviving are his two sons, Brett Schneggenburger (Ashley) and Cody Schneggenburger (Allison); four grandchildren who he was a loving Poppy to, Noah, Nola, Ava, and Mia. Also surviving are Bruce’s father, Gary Louis Schneggenburger (Libby); his siblings Karen Schneggenburger, Scott Schneggenburger (Michelle), and Todd Schneggenburger. Bruce was also a loving uncle to his nieces Tayler and Nicole Schneggenburger. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Center Grove Church with Dr. Steve Corts officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Brett and Cody and entire family,we have a will continue to keep you in our prayers. Bruce was as fine a person as I have ever had the privilege to know. I know you will miss him deeply but just remember he is in a better place and you will all see him again. I truly believe that.
