Bruce Edward Valimont, age 72, of Erie, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Sarah A. Reed Senior Living.
He was born in Erie on October 5, 1951, a son of the late Wilfred & Doloris Pettorini Valimont.
Bruce was a graduate of McDowell High School and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church.
He worked as a metal finisher at Erie Plating for 43 years until his retirement in 2013. Bruce enjoyed golf and traveling the world. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sibling’s Robert Valimont & Sheila Boehm.
Bruce is survived by two sisters, Melanie (Mike) Houghton of Erie, Debbie (Tom) Stone of Arizona; sister in law, Cheryl Valimont of Erie, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 West 26th St., on Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
